近日，由Security Pipeline所做的一次调查显示，广大用户对即将推出的Windows XP Service Pack 2颇有意见。根据微软先前发布的SP2测试版看，大家都认为Windows XP Service Pack 2过于严谨，过于安全了！简直就是一座裹的严严实实的“堡垒”。在默认状态下，它就能自动下载并安装各种patches，而且不需要人为干预；内置防火墙也会自动打开；新的Windows Security Center（安全中心）在提高系统安全性的同时，却让初学者感到为难，当系统、程序等发生变化时，他们不能轻易地调整和恢复security settings（安全设置）。Windows XP Service Pack 2是否太安全了？！

- Are you crazy? SP2 security needs to be even tighter:
38% - 453 votes out of 1189

- Yes. Security is great, but SP2 will make it too hard for novices to use their computers:
34% - 409 votes.

- No. With SP2, Microsoft finally gets security right:
